New Pendulum Sand/Salt Spreaders: Precision and Versatility
These new sand/salt spreaders utilize an innovative, hydraulically operated pendulum spreading plate that moves horizontally for precise material dispersal. The height of the spreading plate is adjustable, allowing the unit to effectively spread materials ranging from coarse gravel to fine sand and salt. For fine material, an optional blocking plate kit is required to prevent unwanted spillage.
The system spreads material 200-300 mm wider than the spreader’s own width. Thanks to the plate’s smooth horizontal movement, there is no risk of damage to surrounding objects like parked cars or buildings. Spreading speed can be effortlessly fine-tuned using a flow divider valve.
The spreader is front-mounted as standard and can be tilted down for easy loading like a normal bucket. Rear mounting is also possible for larger Avant models (500, 600, 700, and 800 series), though specific mounting plates and rear hydraulic outlets are required. Optional rear lights are also available.
